Meeting Information / Directions
Our Toastmasters Club's Name is the Monty Toastmasters.
We meet every Monday from 6:15 to 7:30 pm at the Commerce Building at 65 LIberty St. Once you get there we meet in room 10. Meeting is in-person.
Let's get one thing straight right off - we are a really friendly crowd and will not require you to speak in front of everyone UNLESS you approve. We strive to let each member go at their own pace.
Some other items:
- Members have a wide range of speaking experience.
- Members are from diverse downtown businesses.
- You may park in the Commerce Building parking garage - we'll provide a free parking pass.
- If you’re on a tight schedule, feel free to come & go as needed. Meetings officially start at 6:15 PM & end by 7:30 PM.
- You can visit as often as you'd like.
- If you decide to join the fees are minimal and our Membership Officer will explain everything to you when YOU are ready.
- When you visit a meeting, you'll see most members are involved in some type of speaking role. The roles range from a 1-minute 'thought for the day', a 5-minute prepared speech, to the "Toastmaster" who leads the meeting & introduces each speaker.
- We guarantee you will have a good time when you visit our club!
